Want to live the race? Here is the programme and the best spots to cheer the runners on.
Lagun Onak Mendi Bazkuna organises the fifth edition of the Domusa Teknik 40 MLK and the third of the Domusa Teknik 15 MLK: two mountain races of 65 and 26 kilometres in Azpeitia and the neighbouring villages (Errezil, Bidania-Goiatz and Beizama), with more than 1,000 runners across both distances.
This guide has everything spectators need: the programme of events and the best spots to watch the race, with the runners' approximate passing times.
Beyond the villages and mountains, we want to show off the most special places in the area: the Basque Railway Museum in Azpeitia, the Zelatun huts, the geographical centre of Gipuzkoa, Beizama, Munoaundi and its Iron Age settlement, the Sanctuary of Loyola and its surroundings, the Izarraitz gate, the Xoxote refuge, the old snow pit, the Magdalena hermitage…
