Introduction
More than a race
At Azpeitiko Lagun Onak Mendi Bazkuna we are already organising the sixth edition of the Domusa Teknik 40 MLK mountain race. The races will take place on 8 May 2027 and, as in the previous edition, there will also be a second distance: the Domusa Teknik 15 MLK, over 26 kilometres.
Both races start and finish in Azpeitia and, in between, runners cross the villages and mountains of the surrounding area.
For the organisers it is clear that the main goal of the Domusa Teknik 40 MLK project is not just the race itself. Beyond that, we want to promote mountaineering, tourism and the economy of these villages, showing participants and spectators the local produce, hidden corners, natural landscapes and cultural and architectural heritage.
Ultimately, mountaineering, equality, inclusion in sport and environmental protection are the values we want to promote through this event.
